Effective October 13, 2026. This policy explains how Repolume handles information submitted through this beta application.

Information used to provide the service

Repolume receives the GitHub username, PDF resume, selected target role, and AI-explanation preference that you submit. It uses these inputs to generate your developer-readiness report.

Account information

If you create an account, Supabase Auth processes your email address and password to provide sign-in and email confirmation. Repolume does not receive your password. Repolume stores the account identifier, email address, account creation information, terms-acceptance record, and future review-credit balance needed to operate account features.

Public GitHub information

Repolume analyzes repositories and related information that are publicly available through GitHub’s API. It does not access private repositories.

Resume processing and retention

The public analyzer processes your resume during the request to extract text and generate the report. It does not save the PDF or extracted resume text to persistent application storage. When a signed-in user requests an AI review, Repolume saves the resulting report so the user can view or delete it from their account. The saved report does not include the original PDF or extracted resume text.

Optional AI explanations

If you choose “Add an AI explanation,” Repolume sends the completed report to OpenAI to generate an explanation. It does not send the raw PDF file, and Repolume sets store=false for the request. OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring logs under its API data policies. Do not select this option if you do not want the completed report used to create an AI explanation.

How information is used

Information is used to provide the requested report, operate and troubleshoot the beta, protect the service from abuse, and comply with applicable law. Repolume does not sell resume information.

Third parties

Repolume uses Supabase for account authentication and account records, GitHub’s public API to retrieve public repository information, and OpenAI’s API when you opt in to an AI explanation. If paid review credits are enabled, Stripe processes payment information. Repolume does not receive or store your full payment card number. Those providers handle information under their own terms and privacy practices.

Your choices

You may use the public analyzer without an account. You can request account-related help or deletion by contacting us at the email below. Do not send a resume or account credentials by email.
